SELCO Discontinues
Carriage of WJAR-10 - SELCO has discontinued carriage
of the Providence NBC affiliate WJAR-10 (Ch. 10) as
of January 1, 2009. While we understand this may cause
an inconvenience for some of our customers, much of
WJAR's programming is duplicative of programming available
on Boston's NBC affiliate WHDH-7, which SELCO will continue
to carry. WJAR required that SELCO pay for the channel
that we historically carried without a charge. |
