Shrewsbury Cable's Video On Demand service gives you a new way to play when it comes to ordering movies and other programming. Your Digital Box now allows you to easily order movies and other programming when you want at any time within a 24-hour rental period. And, on top of that, you can also Fast-Forward, Pause, Rewind or Stop your Program whenever you want.

Your Digital Box has been programmed so that when it is powered on, a VOD MENU page will appear. You can also access the VOD MENU at any time by pressing the button.

1. Tune to the Program Guide by selecting "TV Program Guide" then press .
   1. Press at any time to get back to VOD MENU.

2. To navigate through the VOD offerings, press Up/Down ( )
   [For quicker navigation, press Next ()/Previous ()]

3. To choose a particular VOD service, press .

4. Navigate the VOD SERVICE page you have selected by pressing Left/Right to move along the bottom bar. Press Up/Down to navigate through titles.

5. To Play/Buy a title, press the .

   The title should appear in a few seconds.
   The standard VCR type functions are available for your use:
   Play Fast Forward Rewind
   Stop Pause

In Progress List

To return to a movie/event you purchased or stopped:

1. Press to access the VOD MENU.

2. Navigate down to the video service of your choice, press .

3. Your "In Progress List" of previously ordered title(s) are listed and are available for viewing.

4. Navigate to the title then press or to continue viewing the title. (The title should start at the point where it was previously stopped.)

5. To return to the list of titles (Catalog), press . Toggle between In Progress List and Catalog by pressing .

Programming offered by video suppliers for Video on Demand (VOD), including Movies on Demand (MOD) and Subscription On Demand (SVOD), may not be appropriate for all viewing audiences. however, Shrewsbury Cable's Digital boxes allow parents to block channels as they see fit.

Blocking By VOD Category

You may block any VOD category from the VOD MENU page.

1. Press to bring up the VOD MENU, press , then type in the Blocking Pin¹.

2. Using the Up/Down ( ) arrows, highlight the VOD category to be blocked, and then press . A closed lock () will appear next to the service to be blocked.

3. Press the key to accept the block setting.

Viewing a Blocked Category

1. To view a blocked VOD service, navigate to the desired category and press .

2. The prompt will be:
   • Press to allow viewing this service only

   • Press to turn off parental control (allow viewing of all controlled VOD programming.)

   • Enter Pin Code¹

Once unblocked, services will remain unblocked until the set top box is powered off. Powering off the set top box reinstates the blocking.

Block by Rating

The set top box has a feature to block programming by rating.

1. Press key twice.

2. Navigate down to "Block: Rating".

3. Press , when prompted.

4. Enter Pin Number¹, scroll Up/Down ( ), press to block the highlighted rating.

5. You can selected multiple ratings by pressing to select rating below. Press to accept.
