More than 500 Shrewsbury 4th graders attended the annual Shrewsbury Electric Open House on Wednesday, June 8, 2005. The all-day event combined fun and education including exhibits, demonstrations and a video that focuses on learning about playing it safe around electricity. Students also saw experiments and demonstrations on conducting electricity, the hazards of electrical lines, and using pedal power to generate electricity.
