The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the planning and coordination of the town’s recreational activities and park facilities. For Recreation the department offers year round activities for residents of all ages. A seasonal brochure is produced 4 times per year listing the class schedule. Brochures are available on line or printed versions can be obtained at the Library, The Senior Center, the Town Hall, and the K-8 school children bring them home.

The Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance and scheduling of the town fields and parks. The Parks Department is combined with the Cemetery and is staffed by one Park &Cemetery Foreman, 6 maintenance craftsman, and part time seasonal help.

5 School Athletic facilities
2 state owned boat ramps
11 Veteran's squares
